Centurion is pleased to offer a "Cordless Lift" Roman Shade kit. Cordless, child safe window blinds are now required by law, so cord safely is a primary factor when choosing the correct product for your windows. There are guidelines and community advocate groups to help educate about the potential risk associated with cords (see our links). Most countries have now created laws around the manufacturing of safe window treatments to minimize the danger. Consumer awareness is also critical in creating a safe environment in a home or business.
Our Centurion “Widget” is now replacing the former aluminum headrail system that we previously offered. This new Widget allows fabricators a lower price point because it can be economically shipped, simply mounted to a wood board or batten, and allows you to fabricate the shade with minimal additional parts. The Widget allows the return to traditional fabrication methods while upgrading for safety, new regulations, and ease of installation.
Please choose the correct Widget from the three options below. You can combine Widgets for wider shades. The maximum length recommended is 84” but the cord does come longer.
